Boone Shag Club

Carolina Shag dance is the official state dance of the Carolinas.

Our goal is to preserve and spread the

Carolina Shag dance.

We play traditional and current beach music, swing, 

slow dance, ballroom and line dances. 

​Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer, everyone is welcome to join us. 

Learn to carolina shag and/or improve your style through classes offered by the Club. We offer group, private lessons and lessons on line under the "Events" tab. 

Or just come and enjoy some great beach music and a fun dance!
